I'm on square # 8 I think. These are a bit like chips can't knit just one!

Kelly are you getting more of one color than another? I need to go yarn shopping and can get what ever color you need.

Thanks everyone!

Oh booger! I made up 5 squares from the red and white yarn I had
left over from other projects but somehow I thought it was supposed
to be 9 inch squares. Mine are too big! Anyone know of a blanket
charity that is using 9 inch squares?

Hi,

There is a charity that uses 9 inch by 6 inch. I don't know if you have those dimensions but if they are that size you can see my signature. There's a link to them.

No, these are 9 by 9 inch squares so won't work for the
rectangle blanket charity either. I guess I'll post a message
in the charity forum and see if anyone can use them. I feel
like such a dunce!

Hello!!! Any suggestions??????????//
I have gotten a few more but not close enough to finish the project by August. This weekend I am going to go out and recruit!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am thinking about extending the deadline one more time for December to have them ready for the one year anniversary of the shooting. I would like everyones opinions.

I only have 6 but i'm gonna go into overdrive. i can easily do 1-2 a day.

I like the idea of the 1 year anniversary. It might have a more impact because It gives them a positive note on a negative day.

I'm still planning to make at least a couple.....maybe we can really PUSH to get one or 2 blankets for the Aug/Sept (?) deadline & then more in Dec?
Have you posted anything on Ravelry or Craftster?
Just a thought....

There is a group on Ravelry. I'm not sure about craftster though.
