Socks with bamboo?

Anyone ever made socks out of bamboo yarn? Does it breathe? Are they warm? od thye last?

I'm making socks with Crystal Palace Panda Wool right now. It is a blend of 51% bamboo, 39% wool & 10% nylon.

They are working up nicely on size 1 or 2 needles (I forget which I'm using). The sock pattern is from the book Socks, Socks, Socks - it's an all over reversible cable pattern.

I can't really answer most of your questions as they aren't done yet so I don't know how they will wear. They feel like a nice tight sock fabric so I think they will wear well.
