Yes, I agree with Kgym! Our KAL will carry on for a while. And, if I like this pattern, and I think I will...I might make one or two more!

I'm like that. If I find a good basic pattern, I'll make it over and over in different yarns and colors!

I finished my first skein. 4.5 inches. At that rate I'll have to be careful to have enough yarn...

gymnast Burgundy sounds wonderful!

I was thinking that this top could be made in many colors and threads too.

I'm thinking I might need more yarn, too. What size needles did you get gague on. I had to go up to 9.

I got gauge with 8 needles. I'm going by how many inches there are in my size pattern divided by how many balls of yarn I have...

I purchased 6 balls instead of 5 and it looks like I'll have to be careful to be able to finish with the 6.

found this yarn on WEBS (yarn.com) Looks great. I really want to do this KAL, but.. i just bought a bunch of wool to knit the Central Park Hoodie! I'll be watching from the side lines

anyhow.. i did find this blog post about the neckline .. seems it has a tendency to fall off shoulders, and she did correct it!

Hi Jeannie! The yarn you found on WEBS is too heavy. It is heavy worsted wt with gauge of 16st=4" (aka 4"=1") We need more of an aran worsted with 20st=4" (aka 5st=1") But thanks for keeping tabs on us!

I bought some yarn for another CPH, too! Debbie Bliss Donegal Luxury Tweed in denim blue. Will start it after Tempting II is finished! WhooHoo! I might start a fresh CPH/KAL for it when the time comes. The other CPH/KAL should be finished by then.

I think it is nice when knitters in a KAL are all together in their progress, or about at the same place in the pattern.

This blogger finished a wonderful Tempting II summer top, and she also mentions the K2T all the way around the last yoke row (instead of K2T, K1, as written).

Read her notes...they are very helpful...and BTW...she says the pattern is very easy and she'd do it again! And, her Tempting II is a wonderful fit! It looks perfect! She applied a button instead of the buckle.

Her top does look really good on her. I like the way she finished it, too...
