Merigold, What a cute little shape your D.D. has. She looks so nice in her new TemptingII. You did a great job on it too!

Christine, that is a great idea about making a little one. It shouldn't be too hard to pull off.

Merigold, I understand your instructions, sort of reminds me of the kitchener, but done only on one needle. The regular bindoff I have on the summer top now looks ok, but i guess I am not really proud of it. So, here I go again, taking everything out and redoing it, but this time I know I will end up with a "finished" look, thanks to you.

Mimi, you should try it on a little swatch and see if you like the look of it. I don't want you to blame me if you liked your last attempt better. Lol I know it is a lot of work to do the whole neck again.

# 8 needles
Art lady, I'm getting ready to do the neck band. I do not have a # 8 dp needle. I do have # 7's. I was wondering it it would matter very much if I was to use those?

No, I don't think it will matter much. Just try to knit looser than usual. Better to use 7's than 9's. Besides, you want the neckline to be closer...and the 7's will help that along!
