New scarf (for me!) *Photo added
I realized today that I had never posted this photo. It has self knitted fringe on the sides.. I do have a close-up photo, of the stitches, but, I guess it's still in my camera.. and the battery is being charged right now. So, I'll update and add the close-up photo of the stitches later.

Pretty! I've never heard of self-knitting fringe. Is the scarf from a pattern, or your own design?

I've never heard of self-knitting fringe either. More beautiful yarn and such amazing colors.

I used seed stitch pattern on the scarf's body.. because, I think that it helps multi-colored yarn.. not 'pool colors' so much.. and even though it got old on knitting a long scarf.. it did make the scarf look a little woven in person.

The knitted fringe is simply.. casting on a few stitches at the end of the row and casting them off again working towards the body of the scarf.

I actually ended the scarf about 7 inches before I really, really wanted to.. because I couldn't bear to do any more seed stitch or the fringe. It's still a long scarf though.
