How cool is this!?
I am going to make this sweater and am in the process of testing yarns now (I'm sensitive to wool, but want wool..lol). Anyway, I was just looking at the site again and saw link on this page that says "yarn list" so I clicked it. (The link is under the picture.) Wow! They list all kinds of yarns appropriate for this and a couple other sweaters! Some are expensive, some are the kind you can get in Michaels or Hobby Lobby! How cool is that! I wish all pattern makers would do that so we don't have to go through the frustration of figuring out what will sub if we are allergic to wool, or on a budget or whatever.

Kudos to Chic Knits!

EVERY pattern should be required BY LAW to do that with the yarn requirements!!

Oh that's good. A few knitty patterns give sub suggestions, but not many others do at all.

Twist is a great looking sweater, but it would take me forty-five years to knit it. I know you'll be faster!

I'm dying to see what shade of red you choose, it's my favorite color.
