shaping the neck of a sweater
I'm shaping the neck of a sweater. I had 60 stitches on the needle. I worked the 1st 19 stitches, placed the middle 22 stitches in a stitch holder, then worked the remaining 19 stitches. Then, the pattern said to work both sides until 3 stitches remained on each needle. I did that. Then the pattern said , "On next row, wrong side facing, P1, P2 tog; P2 tog, P1. On next row, K2 tog; K2 tog; place stitches onto pins to be used in neckband." After doing this, I was left with only one stitch to place on the pin. Is that right?
