Need help adding stitches & reading directions
(Newbie here, need help).... I already have 3 stiches on the left needle. Instructions say K1, (k1,p1,k1) into next st, k1-5 stitches. For the life of me, I can't figure out what I'm supposed to do. I need help in simplest form! Thanks

Hiya Lisa,
K they are wanting you to make 3 stitches out of the center stitich there.
First you have your yarn in the back, put your needle in as if to knit and then knit that stitch, now don't pull it off the left needle yet, now bring your yarn to the front and purl in the very same stitch, don't take it off just yet, now take your yarn to the back again and knit the stitch one more time. Now you can take it off and then knit the last stitch. Yeah it'll look kinda all stretched out n stuff, but that's now it's sposed to look so no worries.
Hope that helps hun.
