Anyone familiar with Denimstyle yarn?

I want to make this sweater for my DS.

It calls for a cotton yarn and I was thinking of Denimstyle which is on sale at Joann's here.

Can you tell me about it and how it wears or knits up?

I was also looking at TLC Cotton Plus.

I don't want to use 100% cotton. He's not too good at doing laundry and I think a machine washable blend would be better. (This isn't a little boy, he's 31.) Reviews please? Thanks.

You mean like stonewashed?? I bought some to knit up some gloves. Haven't used it yet. Looks o.k though

I've used both the denimstyle and tlccotton plus. Love both of them and they wash wonderfully, very soft. The denimstyle would be your best bet for the sweater as the cotton plus is more polished and a dk weight. The denimstyle is fluffier and more sweater-like.

Oh yes and that's a gorgeous sweater, have added it to my faves...

I haven't used the cottonplus, but denimstyle was nice to work with.
