Oops, I did it again...
DH has too many siblings, and they have too many offspring for me to be able to keep up with!

My calendar seems to be missing two neices, both have birthdays this month.

Can anyone suggest a really quick knit toy for a 1 yr old, and a something quick but doesn't need to be a toy for 4 year old girl?
It needs to be something I can knit from stash, preferably in a day or two as I don't have a great deal of time.

I have quite a large stash, so that shouldn't really be too much of an issue. I have some not quite full skeins of self patterning sock yarn that I could use (girly colours) but in reality, any pattern will help.

"...and with this, Melusine fled into the Moselle and swam away, never to be seen again..."

OTN: Baby shawl from SuperStitch
Baby sweater from Ancient pattern.
Square 2 of the Art of Knitting Throw.

Projects to start sooooon: Strappy Top;

FO: 2 Scarves with pockets and flowers, (Blossom), Booties and many tiny Christmas Trees.

For the 4 yr old, a flashy, hotpink purse. For the 1 yr old, a small tote. My 2+ DGD loves to put her "things" in them. Little girlies can never have too many. Mary
