Problems with KH Videos
Just to let you all know that I've emailed Sheldon to let him know that there is a problem with the Videos. So (unless Sheldon comes on the forum and says otherwise) there is no need to panic, just wait for him to sort it out.

The video for beginners, first one on the Free Videos page, just worked. That was fast! I figure, if one works probably they all do?

The one I was trying earlier worked too! Yay!

The only difference between an experienced knitter and new knitter is that the experienced knitter makes bigger mistakes faster. Be bold; there are no terrible consequences in knitting.

All fixed!

I've been working like a mad hatter on some top secret things and I broke both the patterns and videos in the process. The patterns I realized quickly and fixed it last night. But the video problem didn't make itself known right away and worked when I tested it last night.

Anyhow, thank Dclutterchique for the heads up. I'm so heads down working on things that I don't always noticed when something is awry so it's nice to get an email.

I got a reply back from Sheldon approximately 30 minutes after I emailed him to say that everything's running OK now. I've only just picked it up because I was having dinner at the time. (It's 8.28 pm BST in the UK at the time of posting).

It was no bother to dash off a quick email and give you a heads up. I work on the theory that one doesn't know there's a problem until one knows there's a problem.

I only realized it was already fixed because I thought, Sheldon likes to see what's happening and went to get a screenshot of the page. Lo and behold, there was the video! I didn't think he would want or need a screenshot of a working video page. Thank you, Julie, for alerting Sheldon, and thank you, Sheldon, for the quick fix. No wonder we this site.
