Going to Philly
We're taking a trip to Philadelphia to watch my DD's ladies' ice hockey team compete in the national tournament. I need to launch a small, simple project that I can do on the plane, which doesn't require too much concentration. Any suggestions?

A really simply sock pattern? A hat? You can find patterns for both that are mainly stockinette knit in the round. Both are pretty transportable, and with the hat at least, depending on the pattern, you could potentially finish en route.
