Anyone travel to Bahamas or Antigua?

The hubby and I are planning a graduation trip of sorts for this Oct. (keep fingers crossed he defends this May) and I am overwhelmed by the options. I'm leaning towards the Sandals Antigua...I will go talk to AAA, but would love to hear your experiences planning travel to either of these places. I've never spent this much money on a vacation so want to make sure I get it right.
