Ann, that looks fantastic. I love lavendar! That box stitch looks really good too. I am getting excited now to see a lovely finished blanket! We are going forward now. This is great! Don't forget to post the tracking number when you mail the blanket!

What's her first name please? We'll mark it down in the chart. Thanks again, this is great!

CANADIAN DIVISION UPDATE:

IN PRODUCTION
1. Powder Puff - is with knitgal (white/lavendar/pink/grey/peach/white)
2. Flower Garden - is with The.Knitter (any flower colour but yellow/green)
3. Mud Pie - is with sue in canada (various shades of brown/tan/beige)
4. Sky Blue - is being started by knitgal (various shades of blue)
5. Soft Hugs - is with the Mary Maxim (Canada) employees (all pinks)
6. Fluffy Clouds - is being started by khaosx5 (all white)
7. Canadian Flag - is being started by Donna (red & white)

WAITING
1. Bold is Beautiful - waiting (red, orange, blue, purple, orange, red)
2. Life's a Beach - waiting for Donna (sand, blue, beige, white)

This is the updated list for our blankets so far. It looks like we will probably have at least seven blankets to take to Sick Kids in about a month or so.

Ladies this is so wonderful! I hope you all get as warm and fuzzy a feeling as I am getting just watching this project grow! We have the employees of Mary Maxim (a wonderful knitting and craft store) working on one blanket and we have a resort permanent trailer park in Wasaga Beach working on another and they have one in mind called Life's a Beach which they want to work on after they finish Canadian Flag.

These group projects save us the cost of postage for each of these blankets because they only have to be mailed to me when they are finished. Way to go and keep up the good work!!!

I've also finished my part of Powder Puff. It's all ready for you Sue! I just have to figure out what to write in the little journal. I think I will put in a little message and a poem. What is everyone writing?

I basically just put where I lived and wrote the poem. We have to be careful what we put so the hospital will still allow us to keep sending the journals.
