"slip 2 together as to knit--k1--pass the 2 slipped sts over" ??

I'm knitting a headband, and this is in the pattern:

slip 2 together as to knit--k1--pass the 2 slipped sts over

I'm not sure I know how to do that right and I'd rather ask someone for help than mess up! Can anyone explain this to me?

Insert your right needle into the first 2 sts on the left as if you were going to k2tog, but slip them to the right needle. Knit the next st on the left ndl, then pass the 2 slipped sts over it.

Move two stitches from your left needle to the right needle by coming up from under the stitch as if you were going to knit but don't take any new thread through it. (two times)

Then knit one stitch having all three on the right needle. The two slipped and the one knitted then lift the slipped stitches up and over the knit stitch and drop them off of the needle. (One at a time, probably would work best)

Hi!

What I would do is slip 2 stitches from the LH needle to the RH needle then kit one stitch as usual. Take the second stitch from the end of the RH needle with the LH needle and pass it over the first stitch on the needle and drop it off. You will be creating a decorative hole in the fabric.

View the video marked SKP. Amy is only slipping one stitch, though and you will need to slip two.

How do you create a hole with that stitch? It's a decrease.... And you have to pass both of the slipped sts over the first stitch.
