Thanks for all of your help, Artlady. I am so impressed with your willingness to share your knowledge, expertise and time. I look forward to anotner KAL with you soon. I am taking a class at Webs this summer (I am fortunate to live near by) and the focus will be on finishing techniques for a cardigan we are to knit together. I sorely need the finishing techniques so I am sure I will enjoy the class. Patty

I am almost to the arm hole decreases on the fronts. I'm really surprised at how little yarn I'm using. I bought 22 skeins and I used 4.25 on the back. I added a 2nd ball on the left front after th 5th cable repeat and on the right front after the 7th repeat. At this rate I'm thinking I will have a lot left over....

I figured out the fronts and finished them last night and got them to blocking! Now I'm off to start the sleeves.

A note for Robynbird~be careful with the sleeves...I am in the process of re-knitting mine as they were to small/tight. This has been a common complaint with the CPH...Good luck! Patty

Thanks Patty! I have read this complaint so I measured the largest part of my arm (the upper arm) and am making the size that would fit with about an 1 1/2" of ease. I made the 48" size for the body,and I'm making the 56" sleeves. I calculated also how many decreases I need to do so these sleeves fit the body. I hope it works out.

I'm working on my sleeves right now and hope to finish them up today. Then I'll begin to seem the fronts and back while they are blocking.

I finished the sleeves and they are blocking. From what I read on the instructions, I need to seam the shoulder seams of the fronts to the back then pick up to knit the hood....right?
