Only 1" to go and I can do the shoulder cast offs and that will be the back finished. I can't believe how far the Cascade knits, I will only have used 2 balls for the back by the time I finish it.

Right now, I have one last cable repeat before I start my armhole shaping!

So far, I am starting on my third skein of Vanna's Choice. We'll see if I bought enough yarn...

At least you can stop by the store and pick up more if you need it! I started the Drops Alaska 109-3 cabled cardigan two days ago...and had 292st ribbing knit up about 3" (1 whole skein, 109 yds)...and a cold wind blew over my shoulder. A whisper in my ear asked. "Do you realllly think you have enough yarn for this sweater, Dollyce?"

Gulp. No.

Off the the frog pond!

Now I'm INTO the pattern and stubbornly WANT the sweater.
So, I must order yarn for it.

I'm gettin' City Tweed HW in ROMANCE RED.

In the meantime, I'll work on a 3/4 length Basic Hoodie with some other stash yarn I've had for a few years! It's a black, bulky wt wool from Elann. Cast on last night.

I know this is TMI...but it's nice to unload on someone!

I need some help...I dropped a stitch. I didn't notice it until about 20 rows later. It isn't making a hole or ladder at this point because of the lifeline. My question is this, should I try to fix it like in the video that is on this site or should I just frog back the 20 rows and start over? I'm conflicted because I don't know if having two lifelines will be in the way. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

BTW, so far, I have not yet finished the back. I got sidetracked with life if you can believe it! LOL I'm Just about to start at the armhole shaping. It looks so pretty!

Depends on where you lost the stitch? Inside a cable? Or just in the st st part? If you lost it inside a cable, just frog to the spot. But if you just lost it in st st area, go ahead and use a crochet hook to hoist it up through the rows. Easy peasy!

Let me know how it goes!

Be sure to push all your other stitches on the needles out of the way when you begin your trip down through the 20 rows.

easy peasy! I decided to try with the crochet hook this morning and it worked like a charm! I had to take two stitckes out though and run them back up together so I could find the ladder, but other than that it worked perfectly! I am so happy because I only have a few more rows left till I start the shoulder shaping and am done with the back! Thanks!
