Worth Watching: NYC subway grate art/inflatable bears
This is too much. Thank God for artists. As The Post said, 'one man's garbage is another's art'.

Wooster Follow-Up: Joshua Allen Harris' Inflatable Sculptures

(scroll down a wee bit to the videos) (the 2nd one has sound which is better to go with the first one)

That is so cute! Looks more like a dog wagging his tail happily than a bear to me though.

Have you ever seen the sticker graffitti campaign "Andre the Giant"? It's so cool when you look up and there they are. I love it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andr%C3...nt_Has_a_Posse

It's a propaganda parody and anti-consumerism campaign.

I don't advocate vandalism, but I am always tickled pink when I spot one.

If you know to start looking, suddenly you will spot them everywhere. I accidentally watched a documentary on PBS (I am a documentary sucker, I am afraid) and now, every time I have gone to a large city, I have seen at least one. In New York, I saw one a day.

It's just interesting when you spot something familiar and know why it's there.

I am going to start knit vandalizing my town.
