FO: Baby Booties (felted and unfelted)
Hey everyone! I made two pairs of booties from the Perfect Baby Booties pattern. I made one pair with Caron Simply Soft on size 4s, and another pair with Lion Wool on size 10.5s and felted them for-freaking-ever to get them to the right size.

Very cute! I love the colours. Who is the lucky baby getting those?

Thanks! They're for a baby shower of one of my absolute closest friends at church. I made an Elizabeth Zimmermann Garter Stitch Baby Blanket (but bleh... I don't love it, wouldn't make another, and wouldn't recommend it), an umbilical cord baby hat, these two felted boots, and a pair of socks. I'm kind of contemplating a baby surprise jacket but I think I've had my fill of EZ garter stitch patterns for a while. lol
Do you think what all I've made is enough? The blanket is pretty big... but I'd appreciate your advice!

Oh my word, YES! I'm lucky to just do a blanket or one item! I'm sure you've gone beyond!

They are adorable . I know what you mean about them taking for-ev-er! I made little Christmas stockings and mitten ornament last year and I still can't believe how long they took to felt. My FT clogs on the other hand were done so fast I almost over felted!

Those are very cute booties, Rachel. I'm sure the mom will feel truly blessed and loved since you took so much time to make these things for her little one.
Now, why aren't you studying?
