WIP Husky square

I'm doing a husky square, with a self-made chart (quite some work) just to notice that, after the first row, I had 5 stitches more than needed.

So I went back to check everything, seemed odd. Then I saw that when exporting the chart, it cropped it down a little, so there were 5 stitches missing on the right and two at the top...

So my husky is decentralized now, a little more to the right than originally planned

but I'm going to finish it this way...

I'm doing it double knitting with white and black yarn of different size. (All I have, at the moment)

(I do have more yarn than that (21 skeins) but they are gonna be made into granny squares, a crochet project I'm working on as well.)

I hope so too. I never knitted something this big.. so it's a new experience... (that's also the reason why I wouldn't have wanted to unravel it...)

But you can't just stay on the same level, you gotta move on...

Ooh I didn't see the chart when I first posted. Now that I see it I can not wait to see the finished product.

You're overestimating me... :D

And I really need a lot of time before this gets finished... I have done two rows so far. But I can't wait either to see it finished!

And being double knitted, it's reversed on the other side.. how exciting!! :D

Ooo double knitted! That's going to look awesome! OK I guess I can wait.

Are you done now?

How about now? Just kidding it takes me forever and a day to complete a project. Have a great time knitting this!

I love your chart, do you mind if I borrow it. I have an Alaskan Malamute. I just love these dogs. I love your idea of doing in double knitting, you are very brave.
I equally look forward to see it when your are done, not to put any pressure on you.
Please show progress pictures, don't wait till the whole thing is knitted up.

Just a little modification, if you're gonna use it:

Put the 5 missing stitches to the right, instead of the left, as indicated. I can give you a bigger chart as well, if you want.

Well, this also looks like german shepherd... it's a dog... :D

You don't have to be brave to do double knitting. I'm addicted to double knitting. Especially when knitting with two colors. (Don't like intarsia or fair isle that much)

I wanted to print this chart, and then, the program became unresponsive, as soon as I clicked on "print"...
It started printing though but stopped suddenly. So now I have my chart with 1 stitch missing to the right and 4 stitches missing on the bottom.
It's not that bad, because I know where the stitches are missing, and if I do the 4 stitches from the bottom, then I can start working off the printed document...

This chart really makes me problems!!! Seriously!
