Online shopping for knitting supplies & yarn

Good morning!
Can anyone suggest some on-line knitting sources that they would recommend? I'm getting a little bored with the selection at my local craft store chain!
I'm mostly looking for a great yarn selection at reasonable prices with good service and have never ordered yarn on-line before.

elann.com has their own well-priced private label yarns (like KnitPicks), plus terrific prices on a wide variety of high-quality yarns, many of them European. Loads of free patterns. Good prices on Addi needles. Prompt, intelligent service. Sign up for their monthly updates on new yarn arrivals.

sandrasingh.com has a brilliant selection of boutique yarns (eg, Lorna's Laces, Cherry Tree Hill, Karabella, Malabrigo). Sandra also seeks out interesting patterns from new designers and offers lots of good free patterns as well. Her site also features hard-to-find needles and beautiful knitting bags. Nice service.

Joann.com has good prices, good sales, and frequently free shipping coupons. After you spend $35, three times, you get free shipping on $10 orders for the rest of the year. I order from them at least once a week. Never had a problem. I also like Kpixie and Knitpicks.

Kaidy! I cannot believe that I did not know about Woodland Wool Works. OMGosh! I drive by them four or five times a month, going from Salem to McMinnville, the long way to see a friend, and I've see the sign for Carlton, but never ever went there.

I thought I'd been to every store in the Willamette Valley, but not so. What's wrong with me?

And I forgot about Jimmy Beans--they have a great newsletter. In fact many of the online knitting stores have newsletters that are fun to read. They are free and full of ideas and yarn descriptions. Often there are free patterns or links to patterns that I would not have considered looking at otherwise. Just another way to have fun with your computer!!!!
