cast on work in progress
what is the best way to cast on to a work in progress. the directions call for a cast on of 37 stitches at the end of a row. i tried the loop cast on but it looks very sloppy.thanks...

Yes, the loop CO isn't very good for more than a few sts. Try the knitted or cable cast on, they behave much better.
