Eyelet pattern-ribbon
I got this pattern years ago from a woman I worked with and every time I try it I end up with 1 stitch short on the yarn over row. Can you read it and let me know what the problem is.

Here is the pattern:
For beginning row cast on an ODD number of stitches ( I used 151)
For the first row, knit
For the second row, purl
For the third row, knit
For the fourth row, knit
For the fifth row, repeat the following procedure. *Knit 2 together. Yarn over* End with knit 1.
For the sixth row, knit
Repeat the first through sixth rows as many time as required.

Thanks

How are you doing the YOs? Wrap and then k2tog, or wrap, knit 1, k2tog? You don't need a knit 1 in there.

Then it should come out right. Instead of ripping out, look at the row you've just done starting at the first st. Count it out - 2 together, over; 2 together, over; to see if you skipped any. The other thing is you might not have 151 sts, it might be 150 or 152.
