Swatch question - adding pattern st
I'm getting ready to swatch again, because I want to add just a line of a pattern st on either side of my tank top pattern (not sure which one yet). The body is all stockinette, so that's how I swatched. I won't be ready to swatch again until tomorrow, when I'll be away from home.

A total of 8 sts will be used to make a Zig Zag Lace strip, 4 on either side (about 10 sts in from the sides, although that's not set in stone as of yet).

How would I incorporate this into my swatch? The tank patterns I'll be deciding on have a cast on of between 60 and 65 (knit back and forth). Do I put 2 repeats in my swatch, or 4 like there will be on the tank?

Thanks in advance!

Well, I think if you are going to incorporate it into a swatch you'd want to make sure you cast on enough so you can do a few repeats.

When asking questions ALWAYS post the name and a link for the pattern if you have it.
