Need help with beret pattern
Can anyone clarify this for me? I'm knitting Cabled Beret. The increase cable says slip 2 sts onto cable needle, KFB, K1, KFB, K1 from cable needle (2 sts increased). I am wondering why I still have 1 st on the cable needle. Thank you.

Looking at the instructions, I think they're not very clear. Try this: slip 2 sts onto cable needle, KFB, K1, then KFB, K1 from cable needle. So you'd be doing an increase st and k1 from the 2 on the cable needle.

I think you're supposed to kfb, k1, from the stitches that are not on the cable needle, then kfb, k1 from the cable needle. That would use up the two stitches.
