Pattern for doll in the round?

Hello fellow knitters!

I'm looking for a cute doll pattern that is done in the round. (I just despise unnecessary seaming!) I've just finished Kate the Cat from Knitty.com and it was such a pleasure to knit. I will BUY a pattern, BUY a book...but just don't know where to turn. I've searched all over the Internet and on Amazon.com....there are several cute patterns, but they all seem to be done in flat knitting.

Any ideas?

I decided to try Sally, the Eco Fairy from knitty.com. I wasn't looking for a fairy, per se, but I guess I can leave off the wings. I may also add long braids. Has anyone made Sally?

I haven't made Sally but there are lots of completed ones on Ravelry, all cute and no mention of problems with pattern.
I thought doing toys in round over flat would greatly limit the shapes you could achieve but finally I did a Ravelry search for in round toys and found many more than I expected to.
