YARN OVER FOR BOTH KNITTING AND PURLING
Hi Everyone,

Hope someone can help me... I am new to the knitting and I need to know what yarn over means. I know I need to put the yarn in front of the needles. But what and how do I do my next knitting stitch. Do I just take the yarn and take it counterclock wise over the right needle.

First, welcome to the wonderful world of knitting and KnittingHelp.com. I think you'll find both are addicting.

As for yarn-over's (yo), take a look herefor videos on how to do them (scroll down to the very bottom of the page). Basically, you just put a loop on your right needle and knit the next stitch from your left needle like you normally would. HTH.
