I can't resist showing off my DDs costumes for her very first ballet recital (she's just turned 4)

Little girl dancers are so cute.
I started dance when I was 3 - we had little yellow bonnets but I don't remember what we danced to. I had a love/hate relationship with dance (as in, I love music and I love to dance, but I hated my class). My dance teacher only does 3-18yos... Despite the many times when I resolved that "THIS" would be my last year, I was one of the few from my class who made it to the end.
Tell your dd "Break a leg", which you may have to explain means good luck. I found that hilarious at her age. Oh and be sure to wave to her while she's on stage. The little ones love that.

She is so anxious, excited, and happy that her recital is coming up. Almost every day she asks if this is the day. I'm more nervous for her than she is. I remember when I had my first recital, and I was so excited I couldn't remember how to do anything!

Oh My! She is too cute! My daughter was dancing at that age and continues to this day (23 in May). She, too, is a redhead!
