Error in pattern?
These are the instructions in this pattern:

Cast on 118(142-162) sts.
Row 1(RS): K2TBL, * p2, k2TBL, rep from * across.
Row 2: P2, * k2TBL, p2, rep from * across. Rep these 2 rows 3 times more, dec 1(3-1) sts on last row. Continue in Cable/Lace Pat on 117(139-161) sts until piece measures 13" from beg, end on WS.

When they say K2TBL, they actually mean KTBL2, right? Instead of doing K2P2 rib, we are doing KTBL2P2 ribbing. Am I correct?

Should I contact berroco and ask them to include this in the errata?

Yes, knit the 2 stitches individually tbl to make a twisted rib. It's not an error, just a different way of writing it. I suppose they could make it a little more clear....

Oh! It sure is confusing. I thought it was an accidental mistake.

Maybe if it weren't in caps it would be easier to see, but if it were k2tog, then it would be written - K2TOG TBL. Since `tog' isn't included, you don't.

Yeah, you are right. The problem here was with my interpretation. If I look at the knitting help glossary, it lists this as 'k2tog tbl'. I am so used to seeing k2tog, when I read k2tbl, I assumed it meant k2 together through the back loop. Thanks for clarifying, suzeeq.

Berrocco also has a glossary of terms used in their pattern; sometimes they may differ a little.

I did check their glossary. They have an entry for tbl, but none for k2tbl. That just added to the confusion

In that case you would read the line as k2 separately tbl.
