I have to say that doubling the yarn makes the project go very quickly. It would make for a GREAT Christmas gift!

Wow!! Thanks for the rundown on your project. It turned out very nicely. Your friend should love this and with double thick yarn it should definately keep her cozy and warm. I like the color, and the cable work you did is great.

I understand about the size 17 needles. I had never tried to use such big needles until a few weeks ago. They were horrible. I could barely knit with them and my hands didn't like it either. The 17 seemed way bigger than the 15. I could knit in peace with the 15, but the 17---forget it. LOL

You did that awfully fast too. Good job.

One of my favorite colors and it makes the cable look amazing! I used this cable stitch on a knitted scarf gift for a man. I think it is an amazing stitch.
