Hi everyone,
I've been a lurker off and on and can usually find my answers by doing a search, but this one has me perplexed, so I finally registered.
I'm using a Yankee Knitter Designs pattern for a roll raglan sweater (pattern #21) and have finished the back and front. I'm reading ahead on how to do the sleeves and I understand everything until this: After all the decreases, it says "there are 11 sts on the needle. End having just worked row 2. Slip sts to holder."
The next step is finishing, where it says to "Sew side, sleeve and raglan seams." Then, it goes into doing the neckband.
Why would I slip the sleeve sts to a holder if I'm just going to sew the seams? Should I just bind them off instead?
Thanks!
