My first sweater!
I just finished my first sweater. I weaved in the ends after I took the pic. I still have to block it and hope that I can make it larger when I do. This is for my Mom for Mother's day and I don't think it will fit unless I can stretch it some. I used Knitting Pure & Simple split neck t-shirt pattern. I even had Mom measure a sweater that she liked to make sure it would fit. This is supposed the be the 48 size on the pattern, which would be 24 on the front under the arms I was told.
I did have to go down 2 needle sizes to get gauge but this shouldn't have mattered. Wonder if I could wash it and wear it til it dries!!!! Then it would stretch!!!
*****UPDATE************
I did block it and got some stretch. Just hope it will fit her! But won't know til Mother's Day as this is part of her gift!

That's very nice, Binky. Love the color, and I bet your Mom will really appreciate the sweater.
