I blocked my scarf today (no photos yet) and I picked up Kometenstern again as my reward. I had been muddling through the pattern and finally figured it out. Now I'm on round 22 and it's going fine. It's a slower pattern though because it's throwing in a ton of nutty stitches. The pattern rounds are all knit through the back loop, purls, skkp (slip 1, k1, k1, psso (not a k2tog, two separate stitches)) and occasionally a k3tog thrown in for fun. Later I get to k4tog too.

I am definitely taking a BSJ on my trip. I can't concentrate on this pattern in public!

Mary, sorry to hear about your Hemlock. Maybe a nice fluffy wool would work and not be too warm. My two Beaverslide blankets are so light you can barely feel the weight of them - a mere 10-12 ounces each! It's too bad that cotton is such a misery to block.

Mary, your Stor Lyesdug is absolutely beautiful. Yup, I have that one queued too.

Minuo, Can't wait to see pictures of your scarf.

Karina, I know what you mean about blocking. My Hemlock looks like it needs blocked again and it just sits on the back on a sofa that doesn't get used much.

Haven't picked up the Alita except to move it. Still working on Rainforest socks (with the help of Karina) and dishcloths (easy summer projects).

I think I'll try the Alita next... have some willow green mercerized 3/2 that's just itching to become another beauty! Wonder if I can extend it? LOL! You know me, always trying to throw in my own add ons!

Photos of some of my finished objects are finally up! I still have to seam and sew buttons on my second BSJ, so it's not included. I'll get to it eventually but I'm having too much fun with the new blanket.

OOOOoooo Love the colors in the Araucania scarf, Minou!!! Very pretty! And as usual, you've done a super job with the pattern! The BSJ is so cute! Funny how it looks before you sew it together! Thanks for sharing!!!
