I have just joined a knitting group here in my town (Bend, Oregon).

I have to be 100% honest with you, I am having SUCH fun! What a terrific way to meet people, to get ideas, laugh & share.

Yes, We have two yarn shop's in town. I have a sweater class one night a week at one shop.The other shop is just a sit and knit one night a week. It is great fun

We don't have any local yarn stores her but we do have a knitting group. We meet at one of the coffee shops in town. The Co-Mod of our Ravelry Group knows the owner and he's fine with us coming in to knit.
