I pulled a muscle in my left hand/wrist and am unable to knit for a few weeks.

I can't pinch or use any form of pressure with my index and middle fingers.

What am I going to do????

Knitting soothes my soul

1) The beginning of a baby blanket
2) An almost finished poncho for myself
3) Socks for my fiance
4) Scarf for Jen

Oh...that is a drag....for me...I would be baking next...which is bad cause I then would be eating...

My other course of action would be World of Warcraft (an online game) but that is just me....*smiles*

Ugh! I am so sorry, and hope you heal up soon.

When I can't knit- I think about it and concentrate more on amassing more patterns I want to knit. Or move my stash around pretending to "organize" it and get all of my WIP's into their own bag & needles gathered up and straight.
OTN: - Tree of Life afghan, socks, afghan for Dad, Tura Maeve baby dress, alpaca Winter Mountains scarf, Frida poncho

Recently FO- Quinn cabled bag, Evangeline fingerless gloves (2 pairs), Topknot baby hats, pompom & earflap hats, 8 pairs of socks, Baby Folkwear Caftan, Debbie Bliss Baby Shawl (blanket)

I feel your pain. I am just getting back to knitting after a three week hiatus. I developed tendonitis in both thumbs from too much knitting and too many blood pressrues (I am a nurse and an EMT). I couldn't stop the blood pressure taking so had to lay low on knitting.

I've just started picking up my needles but limiting the time to no more than 20 minutes at a go. Which is VERY frustrating because I have a new grandbaby on the way and LOTS to knit!!
