I would love to participate in this!! I'll be busy next week moving the kiddo but I'll get on this as soon as that's done. I was also thinking maybe a small shall or wrap for her shoulders in case she gets chilly, something light that wouldn't be too heavy.
This is so thoughtful! And what a wonderful opportunity for all of us to share with Mason and his mom...thanks for doing this!

I've decided on a color and yarn. Stash busting here since I had some left over baby soft yarn from a sweater project. I'm going with my rolled brim crochet hat and a garter stitch scarf with fun fur fringe and edging on both. Fun Fur just makes it well FUN!

I'm up for anything, but I will say that I am not very good at seaming.

You know...I made the comfort throw for my friend, and by doubling the yarn and using large needles, I was able to complete it (even with cables) in a week. I think I only cast on 90-something stitches for it.

I just wanted to let everyone know that last night I told Mom about this as she'll need to be watching for the package (and she needed some cheering up). She was so touched that she teared up.

I thought of another idea for Ms. Jean. How about gloves? I think it was Beth who told me about someone she knew (knows) who is going through chemo and had a really hard time with her hands being cold...getting stuff like ice out of the fridge.

I have a pattern I love for fingerless gloves, but I'm not sure if that would be appropriate if her fingers were cold too.

Anyhow...just my musings this Saturday morning.
