FO a Pair of Socks

Finished my first pair of socks yesterday using the May Sockamania pattern and Angle Yarn own hand dyed sock yarn.

I think I knitted a pair of socks when I was 14 or 15 about 28 years ago.

My cat Lightning is doing a quality check just to make sure my work was up to standard.





A very satisfying feeling to complete a pair of socks, so will have to start another pair straight away.

Thanks. I did not do the dyeing the yarn was bought already hand dyed. Do have some undyed trekking sock yarn that I will have to play with soon though.

Those are beautiful...and Lightning is cracking me up with the quality control - I'm glad I'm not the only one who goes through that with cats...mine drive me bananas getting into the yarn, bag, needles, accessories...and Heaven forbid you leave a row counter or anything out - instant cat toy...sigh.

between my four cats and my 2 year old daughter I spend quite a bit of time crawling around on the floor trying to retrieve lost bits and pieces.
