Hiya renie,
Hun the only thing I can think of to do with that small amount of yarn (not really enough for anything cept small items) is to find a lacy shawl pattern to KNIT (crocheting takes up a lot of yardage, not knockin crochetin, I love to crochet!!) then with the shawl pattern make it either wider than the pattern (maybe an extra pattern repeat or two) and longer (do the same thing, more pattern repeats). Find a rectangular or square pattern that is knit (or crochet) from one end to the other. Not one done in the round or triangular or circular. www.knittingpatterncentral.com and www.crochetpatterncentral.com have lot's of patterns you can look at. They are all free as well.
