Fitted Sweater Coat
Does anyone know where I can get a pattern for a fitted sweater coat?? I have looked around to alot of places, but just can't find the right thing. I would prefer a mid-thigh length, but if it is fitted good around the waist, length is not such an issue!!! Thank You!!!

Do you mean with tie or something? I can't picture a long fitted sweater....

What online places have you looked at and eliminated? What kind of closure do you want? Are you wanting free?

I don't know if this is anything like what you want, but:

Her Vino Cardigan could be considered a fitted coat, I think.

BTW, all her patterns are great. One of my favorite blogs.

What about Starsky? It's fitted, and with a belt you could tie it as tight as you wanted.

That is very cute, but I have never done cables before. I would like something that is kinda dressy, as I need to be dressy for my job, but at my waist, I want it to go in, clinched, kinda. Not tight, just to show my shape. My waist is not my best feature!!

Would this be fitted anough for you? I have the same waist problem and I think I'm going to make it for this fall. If it helps any, I saw a similar design in NY & Co and they are usually dressy. There are a couple of cables, but cable's aren't that hard, promise!
