Yarn Bee's Mosaic Twist is being discontinued!

Greetings! Just wanted to drop a quick note to let those of you who might be fans of this yummy yarn know that it is going to be discontinued. I emailed the company to confirm this after hearing some rumors, and the customer service rep who replied (I have the original email if anyone would like to see it; just send me a PM) said that he talked to their yarn buyer, who confirmed the rumor. He said they no longer have it in the 'warehouse' and that once the stores sell out of what they have, it's all gone.

Better snap it up while you can!!

So that explains the constant 99¢ sale for the last few weeks.

I've already made a 7.5'x7.5' afghan out of it. If they weren't such small skeins I'd grab some more, but $50+ for a 99¢ sale yarn was too much for my taste.
Nice afghan but I definitely don't need 2 of them.
I can't think of anything smaller I'd want out of it (I'm not that into variegated) or else I would go grab some before it's gone.

Two to three skeins of it (depending on the length you want) makes a great My So Called Scarf. I've knocked out a few of these now with Mosaic Twist; the scarf looks great with a variegated yarn like MT and it's sure cheaper than the Manos del Uruguay the pattern calls for.

As another aside, there are several other Yarn Bee yarns that have been on sale for weeks along with Mosaic Twist. If one of those is anyone's favorite yarn, you might shoot the company an email and see if that is going to be discontinued as well.

I was getting 1 12" granny square with crochet in HDC per skein. The brown and dark blue made a pretty cool pattern.
It was nice to work with. I finished the whole afghan in 20 days. These big boys usually take me a year to do.

I bet a purse would be nice in the Terra Cotta Clay, but I don't see myself getting into purses

I know... just when I figured out a use for it (Sunday Market shawl http://knitfish.livejournal.com/51964.html ) they were down to only a few colors. I got the dahlia - lt blue, dk blue, rose and aqua - they used to have others I liked better, but I was lucky to pick up the 4 I got in this color. It was gone and they're down to just a couple skeins last time I was in.

I just started crocheting again, my friend gave me a bunch of yarn. I started a baby blanket with Mosaic twist dahlia, and now that I am almost done I can't find any more of it anywhere. Does anyone know where I can look for this discontinued yarn? Thanks!
