I have a pattern for girls vintage dress and i don't understand 1 stitch in the pattern,so i need help
at one point you have to purl in the back of second stitch and then knit in the front of the first stitch then slip both off the needle, but so to make it simple how do i purl in the back of the second stitch,my brain is tired of thinking about it.

You're making a twist or mini cable and basically just working the stitches out of order. Purl the 2nd st, leave it on the needle, then knit the first stitch and take them both off. It may help for the first couple if you slip the 1st st to a dpn or stitch holder as in cables, hold in front while you purl the 2nd st, then knit the first one off the holder.

Go to YouTube and type in knitting twist stitch on the search area.
There is a video on how to do a twist stitch. It is also on this site if you go under advanced search type in ninabambam and there is a subject call "Twist Stitch".

I didn't know how do to this stitch either and someone was kind enough to send me the link. I don't know how to send you the link.

It is very easy to do.
