That cat really has character!! :-) I love your creation. I know what you mean about patterns like this. They are so cute and you love the FO but making them is a pain. I really don't like crafts (all that sewing), I like to knit. lol Your bag is really worth the effort though.

Is Bagpuss something from TV in the UK? I've never heard of that/him/her? Do you say that kitty is pink and white stripes? Funny. :-)

yes a very old show, they sometimes repeat on the telly. have to say it is to basic for my kids but 40 years ago when DH was little it was quite popular I think. I of course missed it as I am originally from Denmark and I watched pippi long stocking and Emil fra lonnebjerg or something like that
