loopy pattern
Hi all this is my first time here and my first problem I have just become a new grandmother and thought I might get back into knitting When my daughter was young I knitted her a loopy cardigan I though I would do the same for my new gran-daughter I found a pattern on the Internet but the loops are not secure if I pull at them the pattern goes (insert needle into stitch wrap wool around needle and first finger 3 times and then around needle as if to knit pull all 3 loops through and slip onto left needle knit all 3 loops and stitch together ) But I can pull at the loops and they move hope I'm making sense does anyone know how I can secure the loops so they don't pull out ? thank you

Hi dollyann and welcome to KH! Congrats on your little gran-daughter.

Can you post a link where you found the pattern on the internet? Looking at the pattern may help

There's a free sock pattern on the knitpicks site called "loopy" that has the cuff covered in loops. Maybe if you check out the directions on that pattern it will help you out.
