Any Suggestions?
I looking for tried and true places online to purchase yarn. I want yarn that is super soft and will not bleed on me. I am also looking for sock yarn. I know of a few, but would love to try hand home spun or hand dyed yarns.

Thanks!

Here are some that I have tried and loved what I got
Knit Picks
The Loopy Ewe
Eat.Sleep.Knit
Knitting Zone
Wool Girl
I also browse Etsy and like Wooly Treasures yarn (many others on etsy too but I have only tried a few for yarn)

Have you had some bad experiences from somewhere? I know the majority are decent places with decent yarns on line. Especially if you look at some of the projects & see what yarn they used - you can normally find that yarn online somewhere. Hopefully you havent been stung too badly with bad yarn!

No, I haven't had bad experiences. I just do not want to waste money on yarn that is not good. And I am so inexperienced, I really don't even know what to look for. I have ordered from knitpicks and been very pleased. I don't have a LYS so I can feel some of the nicer yarns before I purchase them online. I was just trying to get some ideas of what is nice.

Thank you both.
