HELP!
I am in the making of a cat bed and I am so confused on this little piece of directions:

"Working in garter stitch, inc 1 st each side of the next 7 rows (34st)"
This is going from 20 stitches.
Does it mean inc 1 st on each side as in 1 on one side and then the other?
OR
1 inc in one row and then 1 inc in the next row.

AHHH! Help Please?
Jak
