HELP: Need Illusion Knitting For Simple Scarf Pattern

I've never done illusion knitting, so maybe I'm biting off more than I can chew but I HAVE to make an X-Files inspired illusion knitted scarf for the upcoming movie premier!!!!!!!!!!!

So...........can anyone help tell me how to chart (I've never charted before) the X-Files logo??????????? Only I would fill it in in the lime green.........and JUST the "X", no wording. It's really just a big green "X" on a black background........shouldn't be too hard!

see if the directions in this sock pattern help you. She has the cat chart as a regular looking row by row chart, but following her directions, you knit 4 rows for each row on the chart.

seems like you could take any chart and make it illusion this way.
