turning?
i recently got a pattern that said

CO 18sts

rows 1-4: knit
row 5:k14, turn
row 610, turn etc

i've been looking it up for ages and i idont know what it means. or what the instructions are. any help?

If you have a link to the pattern can you share it? Or at least a name of the pattern? It helps if we can see it.

It sounds like you're turning before the end of the row.

Are you using straight needles or double pointed?
I was going to ask a question for everybody. I got a pattern that said to "turn" it while using 2 regular needles, not double pointed.

It doesn't matter how many needles you use, when a pattern says to turn and you haven't gone all the way across the sts yet, it's short rows. You would turn just as if you were at the end of the row and knit back.
