Nobones - I just love your fairy. Would never have thought to do it like that, Brilliant.

I did buy the mag just for this pattern, haven't had the time to look at it properly. Does it tell you how to get the neck to stand up like that.

you have both done a great job on your fairys.
BTW could we have a photo of her back nobones? did you use a novelty yarn for her wings?

Thanks everyone I'm so pleased you like her.

Karina (gorgeous name!) I did use novelty yarn, a black eyelash with black 4ply. It gives it that furry look. It ended up a bit bulky with the wings padded like Rita's so I just used 2 of the smaller ones.

The neck is a straw, but I put put cotton buds in mine as well to make it a bit more ridged. Thank goodness for Rita doing this at the same time, I'd have been in a big old mess if it wasn't for her!

Back view.

Both of those fairy's are fantastic!!! I can't wait to find that magazine up here in Canada.... (I've been told it usually takes a couple months!?!?! not sure why, but I'll keep my eyes open)

Cute Hedgehogs!

So far, England and Canada have been very well represented in our knit-along. Where are the Americans? Come on, US knitters!
