fair isle wonkiness (windowpane socks)

hey all!

can't take a pic beacuse my digi is broken, but i am working on the Windowpane Socks from Summer's IK. Everything is going along fine EXCEPT for the end of round sts... I am working it on magic loop, and the sts at the other stress point are just fine, but for some reason, the end of round ones are gross... it actually looks like i've screwed up the pattern, but I am certain I have not, that's just how wonky they are. I read Eunny's tips here:

but either I don't understand or they're not working... does anything have any tips? thanks!

Is it a jog like when you do stripes? I had problems with that in my fair isle 'crazy socks' that I made. I didn't worry about it because they were socks. I'm not sure of the answer though if it bothers you that much.

not really a jog, i think more a loose/tight issue... i think it was resolved, but had to rip because it doesn't fit me. :( my gauge swatch failed me again. meh!
