OK, in the line of no question is a dumb question, what is subscribing to a thread? I'm new to online forums, so all this language gets me.

Subscribing simply means you get notified of new posts, as far as I know. It can be helpful if there's a thread that doesn't get posted to much or you have a question and don't want to keep checking back to see if anyone answered.

How do I start a subscription? I saw it once and can't find it again.
If you want your status such that you'll be automatically notified for all threads in which you post, go to User Settings (upper left) and select the option you want.

THANK YOU ALL!! I have asked in the past if there was a feature that would do that and someone told me "no, you just have to keep coming back to look" ...and that's what I've been doing, lol!! Half the time I can't remember what I have asked!
